Our Story
5D Engineering — formally registered as JAAEF (العوجان للاستشارات الهندسية) — was founded with a clear and deliberate purpose: to address the challenge of implementing the Saudi Building Code for residential and commercial projects in the Eastern Province, and to seize the opportunity this challenge represents.
The founding team recognised that Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 demands a new standard of engineering practice — one that combines international expertise with deep local knowledge and a rigorous commitment to the Kingdom's own codes and standards.
The firm is led by highly qualified professionals with more than 30 years of national and international experience, including work with Saudi Aramco, Foster Wheeler (United Kingdom), Techint Group (Argentina), and SNC-Lavalin (Canada). Several team members have served on international and Saudi Aramco standards committees.
